“I have started to do more to make things happen. Wonderful things. Things that make me feel fulfilled, happy, positive, driven, enthused, creative - all the things I want from life! It has made me see, really see, what I really want and what I have to offer. I love the community, the support from like minded creatives is truly wonderful.”

“I have personally found it stimulating. and have enjoyed the sessions. I like the break out groups. Being 64 and a WASPI gives me a different perspective to younger people who are seeking a career. I am doing it because its what I would like to have done but never had the opportunity, guts or encouragement to do it. I think that there may be other people of my age group who might feel like me if they knew about the course.”

“The Make_Happen course has been mind blowing! Each week I feel such a buzz being able to engage with such an awesome and diverse group of creatives. The course has given me a real insight into my own creative process, helping me to push forward and jump over the hurdles I seem to always hit midway through a project.”

“The programme has added some much needed structure to my days and provided me with a supportive network of non-judgemental creatives to talk to. It’s great to have a framework of accountability, as in the past I have let myself off the hook all too often with projects but now i’m finally getting things done.”

“The whole Make Happen program has been such an amazing experience because I got to meet new people and made loads of friends who want to collaborate together on future projects ... I also got to meet a lot of people who were going through the same things I was going through, like trying to finish a project and not getting distracted by the shiny new thing!”

“It’s been good to have a shared accountability with the people on the course, so I’ve questioned my productivity a lot more and gained a better understanding of how productivity and procrastination manifests itself for me. It’s helped me rethink my approach to my creativity and separate the joy aspect of creating from the hard work aspect - you don’t have to love every second and that’s ok, it doesn’t mean it’s not worth finishing!”
